Laptop Troubleshooting: Laptop shuts down or freezes



If your laptop runs fine but after some time it freezes or shuts down without any warning and you find that the cooling fan runs abnormally, making the laptop super hot, you could check the fan heat sink, to see if it's clogged with dust and the processor is not cooling down smoothly.

If you can, simply clean the fan and the heat sink and that should fix it.
